N. T. Rama Rao Jr. Also called Jr. NTR, is an Indian actor, TV host and playback singer who has appeared as a playback vocalist in Telugu films. Rama Rao first appeared as an aspirant kid actor in the film Brahmarshi Vishwamitra that was written directed, directed, and played with the father of N. T. Rama Rao in the year 1991. Then, he was cast in the character as Rama in the mythological 1997 film Ramayanam. Rama Rao made his debut as actor in 2001 with his film Ninnu Choodalani which was a failure at the box-office. His breakthrough came that year with S. S. Rajamouli’s directorial debut, the coming-of age action movie Student No.1.

While Subbu which was released that same year, was not able to become a huge hit with the general public, the action film he directed 2002 Aadi which was released in 2002, proved to be a massive success. Rajamouli, Rama Rao is set to play an Indian revolutionary Komaram Bheem in the period action film RRR. It will premiere in 2021.
